Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how deposits, milestone payments, and cancellations are handled for projects with TrueHorizon. It applies alongside our Terms & Conditions.
Deposits
Most projects require an upfront deposit before work begins, as agreed in your proposal. Deposits secure your project slot and cover initial planning and setup work. Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has started, since they compensate time already committed to your project.
Milestone payments
For larger projects billed in milestones, payments made for completed milestones are non-refundable. If a project is cancelled partway through, any milestone not yet started will not be billed, and work in progress will be invoiced proportionally for time and effort already spent.
Cancellation by the client
If you wish to cancel a project after work has begun, contact us as soon as possible. You will be responsible for payment covering work completed up to the cancellation date. Any prepaid amount beyond that will be refunded within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 14 business days.
Cancellation by TrueHorizon
In the rare case that we are unable to complete a project we've accepted, you will receive a full refund for any portion of the project not yet delivered.
SEO & monthly services
Monthly SEO and AI search optimization engagements are billed in advance for each upcoming month. You may cancel at any time before the next billing cycle; we do not offer partial refunds for a month already in progress, since work for that period has already been planned and is typically underway.
Non-refundable items
Third-party costs paid on your behalf — such as domain registration, hosting, premium plugins, stock assets, or app store registration fees — are non-refundable once purchased, as these are paid directly to external providers.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, email hello@truehorizon.codes with your project details and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 2 business days and resolve refund requests fairly and promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
